Review
You can see Clean Disk Security as an incredibly small application to securely delete your hard disk contents, as well as completely wipe out some user traces, like:
- Recycle Bin
- Windows Temp Folders
- Browser Cache Folders
- History records
- Cookies
- Even the Windows Clipboard!
The program is bundled also with some extra tools like a "Disk Explorer" where you can inspect the raw content of the entire drive, of every sector.
Moreover, if you feel that it isn't enough, if you are not satisfied with the default cleaning options, you can select from a long list of plugins that will perform some custom cleaning operations, like the Ad-Aware log files, the Acrobat Reader recent files, Adobe Photoshop preferences (a lot of versions) or PowerDVD Play File List.
You can even use the plugin editor to create your own plugins and extend the program features even more.
Its user interface is quite strange, some ones could refer to it as 'ugly' but the program itself is very fast and stable, even when working. |
